Le festival de photojournalisme Visa pour l’image – Perpignan est un lieu où non seulement les photographes mais aussi les rédacteurs photo de tous pays se retrouvent pour échanger sur leurs pratiques.
En 2018, pour la 30ème édition, l’ANI était présente comme chaque année pendant toute la semaine professionnelle, notamment à travers une rencontre intitulée « Iconographes, un œil sur demain » le mardi 4 septembre à midi, animée par Aurélie Lacouchie, responsable du pôle image d’Inria et membre du Conseil d’administration de l’ANI. Avec : Claudia ZELS, chef photo du magazine Management, et présidente de l ANI ; Laetitia GUILLEMIN, iconographe indépendante, enseignante et vice-présidente de l ANI ; Andreas TRAMPE, directeur photo du magazine allemand Stern. Qu’est-ce qu’une recherche iconographique au XXI e siècle? Lors de cette rencontre, trois éditeurs photo débattront de leurs pratiques : sources d images, commandes, choix des photographes et des sujets, editing, veille, tendances.
Perpignan is a meeting place for picture editors from around the world who can get together and discuss the way they work. What is involved in finding and getting pictures in the 21st century? Three picture editors will be discussing their work: how they source images, place orders or commission assignments, how they choose photographers and choose stories, editing, monitoring and keeping up to date, and picking up on trends. Moderator: Aurélie Lacouchie, image collections manager at Inria and ANI board member. Panelists: Claudia ZELS, managing photo editor for the magazine Management, and ANI president ; Laetitia GUILLEMIN, freelance picture editor, professor, and ANI vice-president ; Andreas TRAMPE, senior picture editor at Stern magazine (Germany).
